Here’s how it works:
The ONLY electrical element is a small high quality NITTO motor compressor which uses very little electricity.
There are no pumps, motors or any moving parts within the unit.

Incoming sewage is filtered to avoid mixing non soluble waste such as sanitary towels, wipes etc. Filtered sewage is then aerated and a microbial 'soup' builds up that digests the pollutants and organic particles in the sewage.
These good microbes are continually topped up with the microbes that sink to the bottom of the final settlement tank, guaranteeing an invariant 'friendly bacteria' provision for the digestion procedure.
There is no need to add extra bacteria, as is often required with other types of sewage treatment plant.
Processed sewage then enters the final  settlement chamber where activated sludge bacteria settle down at the bottom. These good microbes are always returned to the digestion chamber to enhance the performance of the treatment system.
The bacterial incrustation that forms on the top of the effluent in the clarification chamber is also constantly sent back through a pipe to the digestion chamber – this is an innovation unique to the Vortex, since other activated sludge plants require the removal of this crust, by hand, at regular intervals.
Sludge Return (FSR KIT)
In all ASP sewage treatment plants, floating sludge accumulates at the top of the clarification chamber. This sludge must be periodically returned to the aeration chamber. If you dont want to manually open this valve on a monthly basis, then fit the Automatic FSR Kit as this makes the process automatic.
No other ASP sewage treatment plant has the ability to manage its own sludge

The stand-alone chemical toilet disposal units are made from Fibreglass (GRP) and have stainless steel fixings.
They are supplied with or without built in flush.

Biocell BioClean Sewage Treatment Plant - 6 Population

The tank is divided into three chambers:
1. Non-aerated chamber [activated sludge]
2. Aerated chamber [activated sludge]
3. Separation chamber (secondary clarifier)
Raw wastewater enters the treatment plant, first passing through a filter (A), which suspends large particles and then enters into a non-aerated chamber of activated sludge (1). Under the inlet filter device (A) (below the water level) an air lift outflow is installed (B), discharging large air bubbles.
Hydrodynamic force of the water and recirculated sludge returned from the separation chamber (3) breaks up suspended solids into smaller particles. Further mechanically treated wastewater mixes with the activated sludge in the non-aerated chamber of activated sludge (1) of the bioreactor. A mixture of sludge and wastewater from the non-aerated chamber of activated sludge (1) flows into the aerated chamber of activated sludge (2). In the bottom of the aeration chamber (2) fine bubble tube diffusers (aerators) (C) are installed. Mixed liquid from the aeration chamber flows into the separation chamber/clarifier (3), where activated sludge separates (settles) from treated water. Separated (settled) activated sludge is returned by air lift (B) to the non-aerated chamber of activated sludge (1) (under filter (A). The air blower designed for the waste water treatment plant provides the aerated chamber of activated sludge (2) with the necessary amount of air and ensures operation of the air lift (B) of recirculated sludge. Excess sludge together with large primary solids are stored in the bottom of the non-aerated chamber of activated sludge (1) and is removed typically once a year, depending on the concentration and volume of sludge accumulated in the wastewater treatment plant. The air blower delivers compressed air into the aerated chamber of activated sludge (2) for aeration and for the air lifts (B). The air blower (H) blows air into a distribution manifold (E), which distributes air to air lifts (B) and to diffuser (C) (see Fig. No. 4).
The air blower may be installed in two ways:
1.     Air blower is installed adjacent to the tank in a supplied housing. This housing should not be more than 5m away from the wastewater treatment plant.
2.     Subject to a customer‘s request, the air blower may be installed inside the tanks, in a special housing.

Clearwater P6 Sewage Treatment Plant Offer

The Clearwater P6 uses an aeration chamber rather than a rotating disc as in the Klargester BioDisc system, so no moving internal parts.

Process:
Three distinct process stages take place within the single tank:
  • First, coarse solids are filtered and retained for gradual breakdown.
  • Then the resulting liquid is continuously distributed over a plastic suspended filter by an integral lift, powered by a remotely sited blower.
  • Finally, the solids are allowed to settle and, under normal domestic conditions, treated water of 20mg/l BOD, 30mg/l S.S., 20mg/l Ammonia can be achieved.
